Michael T. Foster was born on June 17, 1961, in Monticello, Kentucky, and passed away on July 25, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky, at the age of 65.
He is survived by Tracy Smith Foster, the love of his life, whom he married on July 1, 1989. He is also survived by two sons, James Michael (Tiffany) and Robert Gregory (Libby); one daughter, Sami (Mike); and one grandson, Dresden, who called him Pop-Pop.
He is also survived by three brothers, Larry (Robbin), Timothy (Sheila), and Richard Martin (Delynna); one sister, Vicky (Jim Wingerter); one sister-in-law, JoAnn Lemaster Foster; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Visitation will continue Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Hickey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Foster-Clark Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Michael T. Foster may be made to Rosemont Baptist Church for its Scouting programs, including Troop 98, at 556 Rosemont Garden, Lexington, KY 40503, or to Hospice.
