(WKYT) – The Kentucky Blood Center is hosting a blood drive in Williamsburg Wednesday, July 22.
People can donate blood at Dayspring Health from 10 a.m. to noon. Donors will receive a KBC “Only You Can Prevent Blood Shortages” T-shirt while supplies lasts.
According to KBC, blood donation often decrease in the summer because of warm-weather activities, family vacation and no school.
To donate, people must be at least 17 year old, or 16 with parental consent. Donors must also weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health and show a photo I.D.
