(WKYT) – Rockcastle County Schools announced on Friday that it has completed a nearly $1 million technology upgrade for its elementary schools.
The upgrades were made possible by a USDA Rural Utilities Service Grant, and now every elementary school classroom and the district hospital classroom features interactive technology.
The technology includes:
- 106 new 75-inch interactive flat panels;
- Built-in computers and video conferencing capabilities;
- New document cameras;
- Wireless keyboards and mice for every classroom.
The district says that the tools will help create an engaging and interactive learning experience for its students.
