(WKYT) – Somerset fire crews found heavy fire and smoke coming from a home while responding to a request for aid from Parker’s Mill Volunteer Fire Department.
The homeowner and her K9 were reportedly able to escape from the home with no injuries.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire after employing and alternating techniques as the fire evolved.
The American Red Cross responded to help the homeowners.
