Monticello will be honoring America’s 250th anniversary with “1776 Day: A Living History Experience,” running from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday July 18th. This free, family-friendly event offers a journey back in time, featuring interactive historical stops—such as an apothecary, a blacksmith shop, and a soldier camp—where visitors can meet historical figures and enjoy live demonstrations. The day is packed with excitement, including a special live performance of Daniel Boone at the Wayne Theatre and a chance for the first 250 visitors who complete the historical trail to take home a limited-edition commemorative T-shirt.
