(WKYT) – The closing arguments are expected to begin in Shannon Gilday’s trial as soon as Thursday.
A spokesperson with Jordan Morgan’s family shared the news with WKYT as testimony wrapped up on Wednesday.
Gilday is charged with murdering Jordan Morgan in 2022 at her father’s Madison County home.
Attorneys for the defense have argued that Gilday was “absolutely psychotic” during the incident that led to Morgan’s death.
Prosecutors contend that the crime is a cold-blooded murder.
