. (WKYT) – According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 17 people were arrested recently on drug possession and trafficking charges.
The arrests were made after a two months long investigation. Arrests were made for illegal possession and trafficking of controlled substances like methamphetamine and hydrocodone, police say. According to authorities, several of those arrested are also facing charges for possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office released the names of all the people facing charges:
