(WKYT) – Kentucky State Police say an inmate escaped from Dismas Charities in Owensboro on Friday at around 5:30pm.
The inmate was identified by KSP as 45-year-old Angela S. Long. Police say Long was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light blue t-shirt and grey sneakers. Long was seen leaving the facility and getting in a black car.
KSP says Long was serving a sentence for theft and substance abuse-related charges.
Police are asking anyone who may have information about Long to contact their local law enforcement agency or KSP Post 16 in Henderson at 270-826-3312.
