(WSAZ/WKYT) – Kentucky State Police says they are conducting a death investigation after finding an unresponsive woman on March 7.
KSP Post 9 in Pikeville says they received a call from Prestonsburg 911 on March 7 regarding an unresponsive woman in the Hueysville community of Floyd County.
KSP troopers and investigators responded to the area of Mulberry Lane, where they located the deceased woman.
An initial investigation found that Trishanna Anderson, 32, of Garrett, was found outside near the railroad tracks on Mulberry Lane, KSP said.
Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Floyd County Coroner’s Office.
Her body was transported to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Anderson’s cause of death is still under investigation.
