At last night’s Wayne County Fiscal Court meeting, Magistrates and Judge Scott Gehring recognized a nine-year-old Will Brown for his heroic quick thinking that potentially saved his great grandmother’s life.
Will noticed his great grandmother was acting odd one day, so he started asking her simple questions, such as her Birthday, the Date, who the president is and she was confused. He immediately contacted 911. Within this medical emergency will kept patient, calm and composed. If Will would have waited longer this entire situation would have ended entirely different. Potentially losing his great grandmother.
Both Will and his great grandmother, along with family were on hand for the honor!
