Run Report 11-6-25At 6:03 AM Monticello Fire Department was dispatched to a dumpster fire behind 370 N Main Street. Personnel extinguished a small fire in the dumpster. No additional damage was noted to the surrounding fence.
At 7:02 AM firefighters responded to College and South Second Street for a kerosene heater that had caught fire inside the residence. The occupant removed the heater and prevented damage to the structure. Fire personnel extinguished the fire outside of the residence.
At 1:52 PM the department was dispatched with Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and Wayne County EMS to a 2 vehicle collision on E Hwy 92. One of the vehicles required personnel to remove the front doors of the vehicle to allow Wayne County EMS personnel access to the patients. East Highway 92 was closed while
