According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron the continuing investigation by Deputy Brad Tucker into a residential cabin burglary occurring on October 10, 2025, has resulted in a second person being arrested.
Deputy Tucker obtained a second Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for a Randy K. Coffey of Monticello, KY. on October 14, 2025, charging him with burglary-2nd degree and criminal mischief-1st degree. This Complaint Warrant contained the same charges as did for Ricky Cross SR. who was the first to be arrested in this burglary.
On October 16, 2025, Coffey turned himself into the Wayne County Sheriff Office Court Security. After processing paperwork by Court Security Deputy Frank Cassada, Coffey made a Property Bond and was then released from custody.
Deputy Tucker’s investigation is continuing with another possible arrest pending.
The Wayne County Sheriff Office also made the following arrests.
Jammie C. Hill of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Family Court Forthwith Order of Arrest for violating the terms or conditions of an Order or Judgement of this Court.
Jacklyn R. Gonzaga of Whitley City, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for Review on the underlying charges of operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, failure to notify address change to the Department of Transportation, 2 traffic violations and 2 counts of failure to appear.
Hill was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Gonzaga was released from custody after posting a Bond.
