During the month of July, your Monticello Police Department had a total of 449 calls for service including: 28 alarms, 7 assaults, 17 extra patrol request, 15 traffic collisions, 33 request for assistance, 47 request to speak with officer, 12 reports of suspicious activity, 16 complaints of suspicious individuals, 13 theft complaints, 2 burglaries, 25 traffic stops and 12 well-being checks. 42 of our calls were alcohol-related.
Arrests/Citations: 2-Assault, 2-Burglary, 4-Theft, 4-Shoplifting, 1-Terroristic Threatening, 3-DUI, 1-Wanton Endangerment, 1-Criminal Mischief, 8-Alcohol Intoxication, 5-Disorderly Conduct, 3-Criminal Trespass, 1-Resisting Arrest, 2-Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1-Leaving Scene of Accident, 4-Motor Vehicle Registration Violations, 2-Menacing, 4-No Insurance, 1-No Operators License, 8-Warrants Served, 1-Falsely Reporting an Incident, 1-Disregarding Stop Sign and 1-Panhandling.
