Kentucky donors save Kentucky lives, but Kentucky Blood Center needs more donors to continue the lifesaving mission.
The Bloodmobile will be at the Wayne County Hospital from 2:00 – 3:30 today for those eligible and who would like to donate.
Donations at KBC directly benefit local lives at more than 70 Kentucky hospitals.
Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements. Sixteen-year-old donors must have a signed parental permission slip, which can be found at kybloodcenter.org.
