Fire Department Responds to Five Calls

Monticello Fire Department personnel responded to 5 incidents today.
#1 At 9:04 AM firefighters responded to a structure fire on Morris Hill Road.
#2 At 9:15 AM, while on the structure fire, the department had to divert units to respond to a fire alarm on Wayne County School campus. The alarm was false.
#3 At 9:29 AM while returning from the structure fire, the department was dispatched to Wayne County Hospital for LZ service for a medical flight.
#4 At 12:29 PM firefighters responded to and extinguished a grass fire on Steele Hollow Road.
#5 At 3:13 PM personnel responded to Tucker Hollow Road for a fire in a brushy area. The fire was contained to about 3/4 of an acre. Kentucky Division of Forestry responded to the scene to assess the fire.
