This serves as a quick overview of the previous date’s calls for service. It does not include every detail related to each incident or traffic stop.
The following activity occurred from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
1:06 a.m. – Extra patrol community warming center.
4:00 a.m. – Extra patrol community warming center.
6:00 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: Mattress by Appointment, Domino’s Pizza, The Laundry Room, Southern Social, World Finance and Wayne County Fitness. All secure, no issues discovered.
8:42 a.m. – Accident investigation. Vehicles struck the building (MUC).
9:59 a.m. – Two-vehicle, non-injury collision at Mason Greene Apartments.
1:51 p.m. – Request to speak with an officer on Barrier Street.
5:18 p.m. – Request to speak with an officer regarding the theft of iPad. The iPad was recovered.
6:34 p.m. – Traffic stop KY 90 bypass.
6:40 p.m. – Foot patrol Walmart.
7:07 p.m. – Request to speak with an officer on North Second Street regarding Identity Theft.
7:34 p.m. – Complaint of male “hitchhiking” in the middle of the roadway on West Columbia Avenue. ATL but negative contact.
10:58 p.m. – Request for MPD/WCEMS at community warming center for male with change in mental status. Transported to WCHER.
