After 290 days away from home, soldiers from B Battery 623rd National Guard unit returned home last evening to a group of citizens eager to see them back! Family was waiting at the local armory when they stepped off the bus on hometown soil, the unit had been deployed in Southeast Asia. The second group of soldiers are scheduled to return very soon. We thank each and every one for their service!
