The Transportation Cabinet is sending out letters to verify insurance in some cases. If you get a letter, PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE it. If you get a letter and do not call or bring in your current insurance card, you will be charged a $40.00 reinstatement fee! Also, if you don’t have insurance on a vehicle, you may be required to turn the license plate in to us!
