Residents of Kentucky have until 4 p.m. today (Monday, October 5) to submit their voter registration for the upcoming November 3 General Election, as announced by the State Board of Elections.
How to Register or Update Information

Online: Access the official Kentucky Voter Information Portal to sign up or verify your current status.

By Mail: Complete a voter registration application and mail it directly to your local County Clerk’s office.

In Person: Visit your County Clerk’s office before the 4 p.m. cutoff to drop off your application.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify to vote in Kentucky, individuals must fulfill these conditions:

Hold U.S. citizenship and have maintained residency in Kentucky for a minimum of 28 days preceding the election.

Turn 18 years of age on or before Election Day.

Retain full voting rights (individuals with past felony convictions are eligible if their rights have been officially restored via pardon, executive order, or expungement).

Not have been declared mentally incompetent by a court with voting privileges revoked.

Refrain from voting in any other jurisdiction.
Additionally, voters planning to cast an absentee ballot must submit their requests no later than October 20.
