Mr. Jerry Turner of Monticello, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky, having attain
ed the age of 62 years, 10 months, and 30 days. He was born on Monday, October 21, 1963, in Albany, Kentucky, the son of Opal (Smith) Turner.

He was born on Monday, October 21, 1963, in Albany, Kentucky, the son of Opal (Smith) Turner.He was of the Baptist faith and attended Sandusky Chapel at an early age. Jerry was self-employed in construction as the owner of Turner Road Boring and took great pride in his work. He enjoyed wheeling and dealing, sitting on the back porch, and watching his grandbabies play in the yard. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family and the everyday moments they shared.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Turner.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Sue (Hardwick) Turner, whom he wed on July 15, 1985; children, Michael Turner, Audra (& Tyrel) Branscum, both of Monticello, Kentucky; siblings, Anna Ruth Craft, Nina (& Benny) Hancock, Earlene (& Danny) Burke, Sue Jones, Ronnie (& Jeanice) Turner, David (& Janie) Turner, all of Monticello, Kentucky; grandchildren, Cameron Turner, Elena Turner, Dawson Branscum, Elliott Branscum, Coltin Hayes Branscum; his beloved fur baby, Patches; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. e.s.t. in the Sandusky Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky with Bro. Danny Burke officiating. With burial to follow.
