Brandy Carver, assistant superintendent of Rowan County Schools, has been elected to the Kentucky Association of School Administrators Board of Directors as the representative for the North East Region.
Carver will represent school administrators throughout the region and help shape the association’s statewide work. KASA’s regional directors serve as a connection between members and the association, ensuring that local perspectives inform KASA’s leadership development, member services and advocacy priorities.
“Brandy is an innovative leader who understands how strong systems, meaningful learning and community partnerships come together to support student success,” said KASA Chief Executive Officer Rhonda Caldwell, Ed.D. “Her experience at both the school and district levels will be a valuable asset to the board and to the leaders she represents.”
As assistant superintendent, Carver supports Rowan County Schools in curriculum and instruction, professional learning, policy and districtwide program development. She also serves as the district’s Title IX coordinator. Before moving into district administration, she served as principal of Rowan County Senior High School.
Carver has been closely involved in Rowan County’s efforts to create vibrant, relevant learning experiences that connect students with real-world skills and opportunities. Her work has included helping the district develop a locally grounded vision of student success and strengthen learning around its Profile of a Learner.
In addition to her district leadership, Carver serves on the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Board of Control. She is also a 2022 alumna of the Kentucky Chamber Foundation’s Leadership Institute for School Principals.
“I am honored to represent the North East Region and the administrators who work tirelessly on behalf of their students and communities,” Carver said. “I look forward to listening, building connections and helping ensure that our region’s experiences and priorities are part of KASA’s statewide work.”
