Bell to Bell, No Cell: Keeping Classrooms Focused and Students Engaged

From bell to bell, no cell. As we begin another school year, we’re committed to creating classrooms where students can focus, engage, and succeed.
One of the biggest disruptions to learning today is the constant presence of cell phones. A quick glance at a screen can turn into missed instruction, distractions for classmates, and lost opportunities to learn.
That’s why at Wayne County Area Technology Center
we’re asking students to keep phones put away and out of sight during class unless a teacher specifically authorizes them for instruction. This isn’t about taking something away—it’s about giving students their best chance to learn valuable skills, stay engaged, and prepare for the workforce.
When students are present, great things happen. Let’s make this a year of fewer distractions and more learning.
Bell to Bell. No Cell.
