) – A vehicle in Hopkinsville, Kentucky was destroyed by a firework, according to WKDZ.
The fire happened on South Main Street on Saturday night on July 4.
Hopkinsville police said the owner of the SUV accidentally shot a firework into his own vehicle setting the SUV on fire.
The heat from the fire damaged the car next to it.
WKDZ said no one was injured in the incident.
