(WKYT) – Unemployment rates reportedly rose in 95 counties since May 2025 according to a report from the Kentucky Center for Statistics.
Woodford County recorded the lowest rate in the state at 3.7% according to May’s data report. This was followed by Fayette, Scott, and Todd counties, which were all at 4% each.
The data reports the highest unemployment rate was at 9.8% in Martin County, followed by Wolfe County at 8.5%.
The unemployment rate fell in 17 counties across the state according to KYSTATS.
