Drug investigation leads to man facing charges according to London police

(WKYT) – The London Police Department says an investigation led to the arrest of a man in relation to drugs and a stolen gun.

Police conducted two controlled buys from 41-year-old Steven Huff, and they arrested him during the second buy.

A K9 officer reportedly seized a bag of suspected methamphetamine during the arrest. Police obtained search warrants following information about a stolen gun, and were able to recover it.

Police say Huff is facing a list of charges:

  1. Trafficking a controlled substance (first degree, first offence, less than two grams of methamphetamine)
  2. Theft by unlawful taking (firearm)
  3. Theft by unlawful taking (all others $1000-$10,000)
  4. Burglary (first degree)
  5. Possession of a handgun by convicted felon
  6. Trafficking a controlled substance (first degree, first offence, greater or equal to two grams of methamphetamine)
