Kentucky AG’s Office receives 154 complaints on Election Day

 (WKYT) – The Kentucky Attorney General’s Office had a busy Election Day.

According to numbers released by the office, 154 complaints regarding election law violations or voting irregularities were received while polls were open during the Tuesday primary. Thirty-two were received after the polls closed.

Prior to the polls opening, the AG’s office received close to 300 complaints.

Voters from Fayette County filed 29 complaints with the AG’s office.

Other counties with high numbers of complaints were: Breathitt (12), Harlan (12), Jefferson (36), Laurel (18), Magoffin (16), Pike (14) and Owsley (19).
