Geneva “Louise” New, age 79, of Bronston, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. 
Louise was born on March 18, 1947 in Delta, KY to the late Chester Morrow and Esther Keith Morrow. She was an Assembly worker at Tecumseh for many years. Louise enjoyed sewing, quilting, her flower garden and spending time with family. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church.
Louise is survived by two sons, Joey R. (Janet) New of Bronston and Chester (Katina) New of Bronston; one daughter-in-law, Tina New (Rudy) Branscum; one sister, Jannett (Gerald) Keith; five sisters-in-law, Linda Morrow, Cathy Morrow, Donna Morrow, Nikki Morrow and Judy (Gay) Merritt; grandchildren, Nathan New, Cody (Payton) New, Kristen (Dylan) Bishop, Ben New, Stacy VanMeter, Amy (Shawn) Smith and Austin (Morgan) New; great grandchildren, Kinsley, Lincoln, Knox, Hansen, Olsen, Joshua and Brooklyn; and several other family members, friends and neighbors.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eli New, whom she married on November 29, 1964; one son, Steve New; five brothers, infant Joseph Morrow, Lyle Morrow, Ralph Morrow, Fairrell Morrow and Kenneth Morrow; two grandchildren, Michael New and Duane New; and one great grandson, Carson Kent New.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 10:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Evans and Bro. Rudy Branscum officiating. Burial will be at Morrow Family Cemetery in Bronston. Pallbearers will be Nathan New, Austin New, Cody New, Shawn Smith, Montie Tucker and Glen Morrow.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Morrow Family Cemetery or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
