(WKYT) – UPDATE: Robert Ayden Banks was located and found safe, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
ORIGINAL STORY: A Golden Alert has been issued for an 18-year-old Laurel County man with autism.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the last known contact with Robert Ayden Banks was a phone call made near Chaney Ridge Road, three miles north of London, around 10 a.m.
Law enforcement believes he may have been picked up by a red van traveling to Piedmont, Missouri.
Banks requires medication.
He is 6’1” and weighs 270 pounds with sandy brown hair. Banks was last seen wearing glasses, gray shorts and a black t-shirt.
