The Monticello City Council met in regular session Monday night at City Hall.
The highlight of the meeting was the adoption of a resolution that would accept the responsibility of landscaping for the inner circle of a proposed roundabout at the Belden Intersection. That area where 90 and 92 meets has been the site of multiple accidents over the past several years and the State Transportation Cabinet is on track to construct a roundabout at the location in the not-too-distant future.
