On Friday at approximately 12:57 p.m., the Monticello Police Department, Monticello Fire Department and Wayne County EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision at Stop Light #2 in front of the Walmart Plaza on KY 90.According to the investigation conducted by Major Josh Smith, a 2005 Ford F-250, operated by Roger Neal, 68, of Monticello, was traveling eastbound on KY 90 as a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, operated by Melissa Pennycuff, 45, of Monticello, attempted to make a left turn from Barnes Drive onto KY 90.
The vehicles collided in the intersection.
Mr. Neal was not injured. Ms. Pennycuff was transported by Wayne County EMS to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
