(WKYT) – A Corbin man was indicted by a Knox County grand jury following a sex crimes investigation.
Preston Messer, 44, was arrested March 4 after investigators said they learned of multiple incidents, alleged to have happened in 2020, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
Messer is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse involving a child under 12 and being a persistent felony offender.
Lodged in the Knox County Detention Center, Messer is being held on a cash bond of $50,000. His arraignment is set for Friday, March 20.
