(WKYT) – Coming into the final day of the regular season, the Wildcats could have ended up anywhere between the four and 10 seed for the upcoming SEC Tournament.
Kentucky fell to Florida on senior day and after Oklahoma beat Texas in an overtime thriller, the Wildcats will be the 9-seed for the upcoming SEC Tournament.
Kentucky will take on the 16-seed LSU Tigers in the first game down in Nashville. Kentucky needed a Hail Mary game winner from Malachi Moreno to beat the Tigers down in baton Rouge earlier this season.
The Cats and the Tigers will face off at 12:30 ET on the SEC Network.
