(WKYT) – The Kentucky Women’s Basketball team will be the 9-seed in the upcoming SEC Tournament.
The Cats fell to South Carolina in the final regular season game of the season and due to multiple tie-breaker situations, the Cats fell to ninth in the standings.
The ninth-seeded University of Kentucky women’s basketball team (21-9, 8-8 SEC) will play 16th-seeded Arkansas (12-19, 1-15 SEC) in the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament First Round (Game 1) in Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, on Wednesday, March 3 at 11 a.m. ET on the SEC Network.
