Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrests.
Douglas K. Coyle of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for Probation Violation on the underlying charges of 3 counts of receiving stolen property (greater than $1,000.00 but less than $10,000.00 on each count) and probation violation (for felony offense). Coyle was also arrested on a Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for criminal abuse-1st degree (enhancement), and wanton endangerment-1st degree (enhancement). The complaint warrant was obtained by Deputy Zachary Bybee after his investigation into an incident that occurred on January 18, 2025, involving a 3-year-old child.
Nikki McKinney of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for Probation Violation on the underlying charges of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine)-(diversion), and possession of drug paraphernalia-(diversion).
Coyle remained lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center and McKinney was also lodged there.
