A two-vehicle collision at stop light #1 Friday evening at 8:42 p.m. injured three persons.
Officer Jeramy Thompson’s investigation determined a 2008 GMC SUV operated by Everette Ray Cowan, 68, of Monticello, rear-ended a 2012 Scion operated by Chasity Stinson, 29, of Monticello.
Cowan was transported by Wayne County EMS to the Wayne County Hospital for further examination and treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Stinson and a 14-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries but declined transportation by WCEMS.
