Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron would like to acknowledge Deputy Allen Cash for his dedication to our community. Deputy Cash presented a safety program to a group of local Girl Scouts on February 6, 2025. Deputy Cash’s program consisted of instructing and demonstrating to these girls on how to stay safe including always paying attention to their surroundings. The Scouts were given safety literature to take home with themselves and at the end of Deputy Cash’s program he took fingerprints of each of the Scouts so their parents would have a permanent record in case it would ever be needed for any reason.
