We share MPD’s activity report to help you have a better understanding of the number and types of calls our officers respond to daily. This serves as a quick overview of the previous date’s calls for service. It does not include every detail related to each incident or traffic stop.
1:40 a.m. – Reckless driving complaint on black Cadillac traveling westbound on KY 90, nearing Monticello. Driver checked okay.
6:23 a.m. – Foot patrol Walmart.
10:47 a.m. – Request to speak with officer on Club Heights regarding harassment by neighbors.
11:21 a.m. – Request to speak with officer regarding rock from dump truck hitting caller’s vehicle.
11:32 a.m. – Request to speak with officer at MPD regarding assault that occurred over the weekend. Criminal complaints prepared.
1:34 p.m. – Request to speak with officer at Wayne County Hospital regarding recent suspicious activity.
1:35 p.m. – Report of suspicious acting female on Michigan Avenue. Caller reports female “going house to house, looking in vehicles”. Female checked okay, lives in one of the houses. Locked keys in running vehicle. Assistance provided.
2:00 p.m. – Request to speak with officer at MPD to report a “scam”.
3:02 p.m. – Request for wellbeing check on individual in Rolling Acres.
4:01 p.m. – Request for wellbeing check at Mason Greene Apartments.
5:54 p.m. – Request for wellbeing check on children on South First Street.
6:00 p.m. – Two-vehicle, non-injury collision at stop light #3.
6:25 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Vine Street. Caller reports that she and small child were attacked by neighbors’ roosters.
6:32 p.m. – Splash Pad and facilities secured.
7:09 p.m. – Assistance provided to WCSO Deputies in foot pursuit of male with active warrants, fleeing from Mason Green Apartments.
7:53 p.m. – Report of B & E in progress at residence on Lockett Street. Arrest made.
9:15 p.m. – Complaint of female “dumpster diving” on South Main Street. Caller reports female “going crazy”. Female left prior to officer’s arrival. Attempts to locate her unsuccessful.
10:26 p.m. – Request for officer at apartment on Conn Street. Caller reports hearing her rear door open and shut. Everything checked okay, no intruders.
10:45 p.m. – Report of yelling & cursing coming from residence in Homestead Heights. Contact made with tenant. Grandmother stated noise coming from grandson playing video game.
