Monticello Fire Chief, Gabe Heatherly reports through the month of July there were 312 total incidents responded to by the local fire department. There have been 59 fire calls 21 of which were structure fires, 13 vehicle, and 14 vegetation fires involving 108 acres.
There have been 65 rescue calls with 62 being motor vehicle accidents with 5 extrications. There have been two firefighter injuries reported so far this year.
