Sheriff Reports More Drug Arrests

According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron his office is continuing to conduct independent drug investigations and making arrests.
On Wednesday evening November 20, 2019 Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office was granted permission to search an apartment on Ridgewood Avenue in Monticello. The search resulted in over four grams of methamphetamine, several plastic baggies packaged for resale of methamphetamine, several new unused plastic baggies, digital scales and a syringe loaded with liquid methamphetamine was seized.
Deputies Derek Dennis, Brent Rose and Jerry Coffey arrested Ashley M. Pence of Monticello, Ky. with trafficking in a controlled substane-1st degree (greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Justin J. Godsey of Monticello, Ky. for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Deborah Tucker of Monticello, Ky. for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine). Also arrested was Dylan Young of Monticello, Ky. on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to pay or appear for a Show Cause Hearing on the underlying charges of no operator’s license and for traffic violations.
Pence, Godsey, Tucker and Young were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
