The race for 52nd House of Representatives may become a little more clearer today, as local election results are expected to become more complete.
County Clerk Heather Piercy reports that her office is tentatively preparing to release the absentee paper ballot totals at noon today.
Those totals will be added to the vote totals from the wchs cafeteria and the absentee machine open at the courthouse which were released last Tuesday.
The partial totals saw challenger Rhett Ramsey hold a local vote lead over the Incumbent Ken Upchurch 1062 to 695. Upchurch maintains a nearly 1000 total vote advantage over Ramsey when adding partial totals from Pulaski & McCreary Counties 2840 to 1892.
All votes must be totaled and reported to the Secretary of State by the end of the day tomorrow.
