Missing Person in Wayne County Found Safe


Wayne Co Sherriff Tim Catron has announce that Mr. Blevins has been located and is safe.


Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron is requesting the public’s help in locating a reported missing Wayne County Man.

Forty-one-year-old Rodney Blevins was last seen walking by himself after leaving a residence in the Spann Hill area on or about September 20, 2019. This is according to the home owner Blevins had been staying at. The Sheriff’s Office has been asked by several acquaintances of Blevins over the last several weeks if any of the deputies had seen him. All of his acquaintances that have been talked to or interviewed by the Sheriff’s Office are stating they have not seen Blevins since late September on or about the same time he was seen in the Spann Hill area. It has also been reported that Blevins maybe living and working in the Lexington, Ky. area. To date the Sheriff’s Office has not been able to confirm this.

Sheriff Catron has contacted the Lexington Metro Police Department for their assistance in this case. Blevins is described to be about 5’ 8” in height, weighing 210 pounds with brown eyes and dark colored hair. Sheriff Catron is requesting that anyone with any information about Blevins whereabouts to contact them at 606-348-5416 or on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page account.
