Bobby Lee West was born into this life on April 11, 1935 to the late William and Eliza West and took his final breath at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, November 19, 2023 reaching the age of 88. He was the husband of the late Lula Mae Tucker West and son of the late William and Eliza Burris West.
Bob is survived by his two daughters Sandy (Bill) Riddle and Norma (Curtis) Lasley. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Jennifer (Scotty) Sexton, Stephanie (Gary) Marshall, Matthew (Kim) Lasley, and Jessica (Bradley) Harris; 10 great-grandchildren Austin (Felecia), Kaitilyn, and Hannah Sexton, David (Alexis) and Sarah Marshall, Lindsey and Zachary Lasley, Luke, Alleigh, and Amelia Harris; and 1 great-great-granddaughter Maggie Sexton; and one sister Betty Norris.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24th from 11am until 2PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 2PM. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
