Monticello Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans has announced that our local chapter 105 will be hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony this Monday morning beginning at 10 am at the National Guard Amory. Local and area veterans will be recognized during the event.
With Monday being Memorial Day, several business offices will be closed for the day.
The courthouse, city hall, state offices, the justice center, utility commission, county extension office, health department, farm service agency, local banks, and the public library will all be closed. Keep in mind there will be no general mail delivery and the post office window will also be closed.
