Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrests.
Aaron Grant Shearer of Monticello, Ky. was arrested by Deputy Brad Tucker on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant for 2 counts of bail jumping and persistent felony offender and arrested on 2 Wayne County Circuit Bench Warrants for failure to appear in the Wayne Circuit Court for sentencing on the underlying charges 2 counts of receiving stolen property firearm, 3 counts of possession of firearm by convicted felon, 3 counts of possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia buy/possess, 2 counts persistent felony offender, trafficking in controlled substance 1st offense carfentanil, possession for sale/transfer simul controlled substance 1st offense.
Josh Shrum of Monticello, Ky was arrested on a Wayne Co Circuit Court Commitment Order for contempt of court and failure to comply with drug court.
Shearer and Shrum both lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
