The Monticello City Council Approved the Fiscal Year 2023 budget Tuesday night by a unanimous vote.
The budget totals, $3,004,999 with some of the funding including $592,000 for the general fund, $910,000 for the police department, $386,625 for the street department, $236,291 for park funding, $292,806 to the fire department, $184,799 for the Aspire Center, and $125,000 for the alcohol beverage control.
