Thelma’s Peach Dessert

1 c. self-rising flour

¼ c. brown sugar

1 c. chopped pecans

1 c. margarine

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

1 c. powdered sugar

1 (16 oz.) cool whip

1 tsp. vanilla

 

Mix flour, brown sugar, pecans, and margarine. Press into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown. Cool. Can make with graham cracker crumbs. Mix remaining ingredients and spread on crust. Then layer sliced peaches on the top of filling and spread with peach glaze. Suggestions: Use sliced bananas with 2 T. lemon juice to coat, or sliced strawberries with strawberry glaze.
