The County Court Clerk, Heather Piercy, reports that a recanvas of votes has been requested in the Wayne County Jailers race and Constable in District #2. The Jailer’s race was decided for Ronnie Ellis by less than 100 votes and the Constables seat was won by only 1 vote by Jimmy Dishman. The recount is scheduled for 9 am Thursday morning at the courthouse.
