Wayne County will be hosting the 3rd Kenny Davis Classic, this Saturday, at the Rodney C. Woods Gymnasium, the event was originally planned for last month.
The Cardinals will face Barbourville., JV will play 1:00 the varsity will tip off at 2:30
Kenny Davis will be introducing former coach, Ray Mills who is a recent KHSAA Hall of Fame Inductee. Coach Mills will be presented his hall of fame ring by Ralph Baker, a graduate and basketball hall of fame member of WCHS.

He was All State at Wayne County in 1966
Led the state in scoring with over 32 points per game in 1966
Scored 3,003 points at Georgetown College
3 Time NAIA All American
Played on the 1970 World University Team
Played on the 1971 Pan American Team
Led the Olympic trials in scoring in 1972
Named Captain of the 1972 Olympic basketball team
Played basketball on 5 continents and in 26 countries
Inducted in the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1984
Inducted into the Wayne County Basketball Hall of Fame in 1992
Torchbearer for the Olympics in 1996
Inducted into the Georgetown College Hall of Fame in 1998
Inducted into the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame in 2003
In 2021 he was inducted into the 1stClass of the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame
