No Quarantines for Schools with Mask Mandates

Under updated state health guidelines announced this week, Kentucky school districts that require universal masking can halt contact tracing and quarantines for those exposed to Covid-19 at school.

As of this past Monday masks became mandatory for Wayne County School students, teachers, staff, and visitors.

These new changes affecting quarantines were announced this week when the Kentucky Department of Public Health updated its Covid-19 prevention guidance for K-12 schools and childcare settings.
