Wayne County Woman Arrest after Served a Federal Court Indictment

According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron on December 30, 2021, multiple units with the Wayne County Sheriff Office, Lake Cumberland Drug Task Force, and the United States Drug Enforcement Agency served a United States District Court Eastern Division, Southern Division London Indictment Arrest Warrant on of Bronston, Ky. The arrest warrant was executed on Dodd at a residence of Kelley Lane Road here in Wayne County. When Dodd was placed under arrest at the residence and a small amount of methamphetamine was observed in plain view. At that point, the Wayne County Sheriff Office obtained a search warrant for the residence and property at the Kelly Lane location. The search warrant resulted in unspecified drug tablets, cash, ledgers, cell phones digital scales, and more suspected methamphetamine being seized.

 

Dodd was charged and arrested for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, 2 counts of distribution of methamphetamine, aid & abet, and forfeiture allegations. Dodd was transported by the Sheriff’s Office to the United States Federal District Court in London, Ky. for an appearance in front of a United States Federal Magistrate. After her appearance, Dodd was lodged in a Federal Holding Facility.

 

This Federal Indictment was obtained by the Drug Enforcement Agency after several months of investigations into the illegal sales of narcotics by Dodd. These investigations were conducted jointly by the Wayne County Sheriff Office, the Lake Cumberland Drug Task Force, and the DEA. The investigations are continuing with more arrests expected in the future.
